To create awareness among citizens about the Right to Information Act, 2005, and to promote its effective use for transparency and accountability.
To encourage transparent, responsible and accountable governance in all government departments and public institutions.
To work for the protection of human rights, provide legal assistance, and conduct awareness programs for victims of injustice and human rights violations.
To support poor, marginalized, backward and socially weaker sections by providing necessary help, guidance and welfare activities.
To organize awareness and service programs related to education, health, environmental protection, women empowerment and child welfare.
To coordinate with Government Departments, Local Bodies and Public Representatives to resolve public issues through lawful and peaceful means.
To promote transparent RTI practices and provide complete guidance to RTI applicants, activists and citizens seeking information.
To conduct legal awareness programs, training camps, workshops and seminars to protect the fundamental rights and human rights of the public.
To organize voluntary service activities, campaigns, awareness rallies, meetings and training programs across the state.
To provide legal and moral support to RTI activists or Human Rights activists who face difficulties, harassment, threats or unjust actions while performing their lawful duties.
To coordinate with concerned authorities to ensure justice and safety for activists.
To recognize and honor outstanding contributions by government employees, teachers, students, social workers and activists in the fields of public service, transparent governance, education, health and social welfare through awards and appreciation certificates.
To expand the society’s activities throughout Andhra Pradesh and, whenever required, across India, by organizing RTI awareness camps, human rights programs, training sessions, workshops and public welfare campaigns.
